Buying for a younger wearer

The 55cm chain sits low on a smaller frame, and this necklace doesn't have a breakaway clasp. If it's for a child, we'd suggest a shorter chain, or skipping the chain entirely and clipping the whistle to a bag or zip pull, which works just as well. Recommended for ages 8 and up with the usual sense about necklaces: off for sleep, rough play and climbing equipment.
